About
The Clean Kweens Story
2019
inspiration strikes

While backpacking together through New Zealand, we were inspired to start the Clean Kweens instagram account as a fun way to share our passion for nutrition and original recipes with our friends and family. Through consistent posting, our page quickly grew traction and our recipes became known for being healthy, fool-proof and delicious.
2020
the peanut butter and chocolate phase (plus we graduated!)

We survived lockdown the best way we knew how – by creating every peanut butter and chocolate recipe known to man. This was also the year we both graduated as Accredited Practising Dietitians & Nutritionists and miraculously scored the same new graduate job. During this time we began discovering and nurturing our individual passions within dietetics – read more about those here.
2022
Taking the Leap

A momentous year which saw us quit our jobs to focus on Clean Kweens full time and launch our online private practice and first course – Making Friends with Food. This year also saw our Instagram account tick over 100k followers, largely thanks to our viral frosted carrot cake recipe!
2023
growth and new offerings

We proudly launched our second course, Sustainable Weight Loss, with great success and celebrated a major milestone for the Clean Kweens clinic – helping over 800 women reach their nutrition goals in a fun and sustainable way.
2025
A sweet new chapter

In 2025, we launched Kweens Kitchen – a space dedicated to celebrating the joy of food, creativity, and balance. What began years ago as homemade recipes shared online came full circle with the creation of our first product, the caramel slice cup. Kweens Kitchen is a reminder that food is meant to be enjoyed, and that nourishment and pleasure can (and should) exist side by side.
2026
A shift towards deeper support

In 2026, we decided to step away from self-directed courses, allowing us to focus on what we do best – supporting our clients through personalised 1:1 appointments and coaching. This shift allows us to offer deeper, more meaningful support, while continuing to grow our sister-business Kweens Kitchen and share our love of food in new (and very delicious) ways.
